David Orson – A Singing Sensation

At a time when performers are labeled "artists" simply because they seek to exercise their eccentricity, it's refreshing to encounter a talented individual who's both a superb showman and an accomplished performer. That description could easily apply to David Orson, a South Florida singing sensation whose soaring baritone and riveting stage presence have moved audiences from cheers to tears and caused critics to echo their approval.

Born in New York, David embarked on his musical journey at age twelve. Immersing himself in a rigorous musical curriculum, his formal training included studies in piano, music theory, arranging, conducting, and vocal performance. Emphasizing an ability to sing in English, Italian, Spanish, and French, his passionate performances have brought him comparisons to such artists as Josh Groban and Harry Connick, Jr. In truth, he draws from a variety of influences – Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, and Celine Dion.

David's reputation has grown exponentially with an increasing number of concert appearances throughout the State of Florida, including performances at such prestigious venues as the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Kings Point, the Biltmore Hotel, Sunrise Lakes, Maltz Jupiter Theater, the University of Miami, and Valencia Shores. He has also extended his artistic reach to Los Angeles, where he studied film scoring and music composition at UCLA.

While in Los Angeles, David had the privilege of working and recording alongside some of Hollywood's most accomplished orchestras. David's involvement in musical theater has been equally extensive, having established his credence in productions of such shows as Phantom of the Opera, Into The Woods, Pal Joey, Can-Can, and dozens of others. He is also the recipient of the distinguished Emmy award.

David Orson's indelible presence indicates that he's interested in being more than merely a passing phase or a flash in the pan. Grounded in timeless tradition, his future is as unlimited as the vast musical legacy which he has so effectively embraced.
